ETHICS & SUSTAINABILITY
As advocates of slow fashion, Olivia Darcy places sustainability at the front of its decision-making process to reduce negative environmental and social impacts. Olivia Darcy moves against fast fashion and the unethical, unsustainable mass production of clothing and all the devastating impacts it carries. We stand by the conscious consumers, proud of our brand’s transparency and our ability to share our creative journey, from a garment’s early design stage to final production.
Creating and retaining our passion as a sustainable fashion brand, encouraging consumer transparency and holding the utmost respect for our employees and our planet is a priority.
When sourcing any new fabrics we look for suppliers who specialise in products of organic status and ethical production.
Our mission is to constantly push back the boundaries in this regard and our designers are experimenting with new innovative materials produced from 100% recycled fabrics for our next collections.
Olivia Darcy garments are designed to last a lifetime, we don’t believe in following seasonal trends and creating ‘one time use’ garments. Our garments incorporate unique design elements that enhance longevity, allowing multiple ways to style your favourite garment repeatedly. Our use of unconventional patterns optimises our brand’s inclusivity values of empowering all body types. As advocates of slow fashion, we aim for new ‘drops’ in styles and colours, keeping our collections per year to a minimum.
Everything outside of the product we strive to make recyclable. When you receive your Olivia Darcy parcel, be sure to follow advice on how to recycle all packaging.
